These Terms govern your use of Tranzlate Travel. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who we are and who may use the service
Tranzlate Travel (“Tranzlate”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides travel planning, discovery, communication and language tools. Questions can be sent to support@tranzlatetravel.com.
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Accounts and authentication
You may sign in using email and password, Google or Apple. Those providers also apply their own terms.
Do not create misleading accounts or access another person’s account. You may update available account details or request account deletion in the app. Some information may be retained or anonymised for legal, security, transaction or community-integrity reasons, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Trips, itinerary and planning tools
The service lets you create and share trips, invite participants, manage itinerary items, expenses, budgets, packing lists, photos, stays, transport and related planning information. Access to a shared trip may expose information to its members according to the controls available in the app.
Itinerary times are planning information entered or selected by users. Reminders and notifications are convenience features and may be late, unavailable or suppressed by device settings, operating-system behaviour, connectivity or incorrect data. Keep independent records of important bookings and deadlines.
Flight progress shown in Tranzlate is estimated from flight details entered in the app and is not based on live airline or aircraft tracking. Always confirm operational flight information with your airline or airport.
4. Explore, guides and third-party information
Explore and Destination Guides may include Tranzlate content, Google Places data, Unsplash imagery, user or community contributions and AI-generated or AI-assisted material. Third-party material remains subject to its owner’s rights and terms.
A Destination Guide marked “Reviewed by the Tranzlate team” means the published guide has been reviewed by the Tranzlate team. It does not guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free.
Place details, directions, opening hours, prices, accessibility, entry rules, safety information and availability can change. Verify important information with official or suitably authoritative sources before acting.
5. AI-generated and AI-assisted content
Some text, recommendations, translations, Destination Guide content, destination imagery and Visual Pack artwork may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI output can contain errors, omissions, bias or invented details.
Generated travel imagery may be illustrative, stylised or inspired by a destination, and may not show a specific place exactly as it exists in the real world. Independently verify important travel, safety, health, legal, financial and booking information.
6. Viator experiences and external transactions
Tranzlate displays experience information supplied through Viator and opens Viator outside the app when you choose to book. The booking, payment, fulfilment, cancellation, refund and customer-service relationship is between you and Viator and/or the relevant experience supplier. Tranzlate does not process that transaction or hold your payment-card details.
Tranzlate may receive an affiliate commission or referral benefit from eligible bookings without increasing the displayed price solely because of that relationship. Viator content, prices and availability can change and are governed by third-party terms.
7. Weather, currency and location tools
Weather information is for general planning only. Forecasts and conditions can change and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Always follow official weather warnings and appropriate professional advice.
Currency rates may be cached or delayed and are indicative only. Actual bank, card, cash or merchant rates and fees may differ. Currency tools are not financial advice or a promise that any particular rate is available.
With permission, current location and selected place coordinates may be used for nearby results, maps, weather, distance and timezone features. Location results can be inaccurate. Do not rely on the service for emergency navigation or personal safety.
8. Translation, voice and offline phrasebooks
Text, image and chat translation, speech input and phrasebook tools are convenience aids. Automated translations may be inaccurate or inappropriate for a particular context. Verify critical medical, legal, safety or travel communications with a qualified person.
Downloaded phrasebooks and Visual Packs are stored for offline use on the relevant device. Availability can depend on prior download, storage, app version and device state.
9. Visual Packs
Visual Packs customise the app with artwork that may be created or assisted by AI. Depending on the access condition shown in the app, a pack may be free, unlocked by watching a rewarded advertisement or available with Pro. Availability and access conditions may change.
Downloaded packs are for personal use within Tranzlate and may not be extracted, sold, redistributed or presented as authentic destination photography.
10. Social, chat and community content
The service may let users publish posts and photos, comment, react, follow or connect with others, send messages, review places and contribute Tranzlate Places information. Content may be visible to other users according to the feature and privacy controls. Chat messages are not end-to-end encrypted, so do not send secrets or sensitive documents.
You retain ownership of your original content. You grant Tranzlate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, display and distribute it only as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure and moderate the relevant Tranzlate features. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions.
Published Tranzlate Places contributions may become part of the community place information available in Tranzlate. Removing an entry from your personal collection or deleting your account may not remove legitimate community information, although personal attribution may be removed or anonymised where appropriate. Private drafts may be deleted. A verification indicator is not an endorsement or guarantee of accuracy.
11. Conduct, reports and moderation
Do not post illegal, deceptive, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative, dangerous, infringing or privacy-invasive content; spam or manipulate ratings; impersonate others; scrape or reverse engineer the service; bypass ads, subscriptions or access controls; introduce malware; or use the service to harm others.
Users can report certain content, places and behaviour. We may review reports and content and may edit obvious place-data errors, restrict visibility, reject, remove or preserve content, or warn, suspend or terminate accounts. We do not guarantee advance review of every submission or immediate action on every report.
12. Ads, rewarded access and subscriptions
Free users may see banner ads and may be offered rewarded ads to access certain features or content. Where required, Google’s privacy system presents consent and privacy choices. Advertising may be limited or unavailable depending on those choices and whether an eligible ad is available.
Tranzlate Pro is a recurring monthly subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Purchases and restores are verified before Pro access is granted, and you can see and manage the subscription through the applicable store.
Apple and Google subscriptions are tracked separately, and you remain Pro while at least one verified subscription remains valid. Cancelling normally stops future renewal rather than ending already-paid access immediately. Store-reported payment recovery or grace periods may temporarily preserve access, while expiry, refund, revocation or other authoritative store changes may end it. Tranzlate does not process the store payment transaction itself. Applicable consumer and refund rights are unaffected.
13. Travel documents and uploads
Travel Documents are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to Tranzlate’s backend. Device backups or operating-system services may handle local app data under their own settings. You are responsible for securing your device and retaining original copies.
Other images and files you deliberately share through profile, trip, chat or community features may be uploaded as necessary to provide those features.
14. Intellectual property
Except for user and third-party content, Tranzlate’s branding, software, interface, designs and original content are owned by or licensed to us. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.
15. Service availability and changes
Features may depend on networks, devices, app stores, Firebase, advertising systems and external providers. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available service. We may maintain, change, limit or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and any store obligations for paid services.
16. Travel disclaimer and liability
Tranzlate is a planning and discovery tool, not a travel agent, carrier, insurer, emergency service or provider of legal, medical, financial, immigration or safety advice. You remain responsible for passports, visas, health requirements, insurance, bookings, payments, schedules and travel decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied guarantees beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
17. Suspension, termination and changes to these Terms
You may stop using the service or request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary for a serious or repeated breach, security, safety, legal compliance or service integrity. Provisions intended to survive termination continue to apply.
We may update these Terms to reflect product, provider or legal changes. We will provide notice where required. Changes apply from the stated effective date; if you do not agree, you should stop using the service.
18. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia, without removing mandatory rights available where you live. Contact the Tranzlate Travel team at support@tranzlatetravel.com.
